Britehouse Specialist SAP Division has the exclusive rights to sell Business Management and Automation (BMA), a software solution that provides seamless integration between SAP and Excel spreadsheets.

BMA allows companies to quickly and easily extract budgeting and management accounting information from SAP and manipulate the data in Excel spreadsheets.

The solution is mainly focused on budgeting and management reporting, but it can be used as a business intelligence extraction and manipulation tool for any SAP data depending on the customer’s needs.

Update SAP budgets directly from Excel

Most companies use MS Excel for their budget process. Britehouse Specialist SAP Division provides budget templates in MS Excel which can be populated by the business. The budget values are then posted automatically into SAP tables with version control. This can be done by any spreadsheet user from a PC or laptop, with no knowledge of SAP. Security is maintained via standard SAP authorisation profiles.

Similarly, values in historical budgets can be extracted from SAP into an Excel spreadsheet and manipulated for current budgeting and forecasting purposes and scenario planning. Results can then be posted back into SAP.

The solution overcomes the problem of having to recapture information in SAP through automated data uploads.

Extract management information directly to Excel

Management information such as sales reporting, sales volumes or fixed cost versus variable cost data can be extracted automatically from SAP into an Excel spreadsheet, manipulated, consolidated and results used to populate reports.

Predefined reporting templates allow users to click on an option on the BMA toolbar to refresh the figures for the current month, without having to build the report again and the data is automatically extracted in the background.

Events in SAP, such as forecasted depreciation runs and cost distribution cycles can be triggered automatically and an Excel spreadsheet populated with the results. Similarly, events such as an assessment cycle in SAP can be triggered from Excel.
