Company Overview

Eventus Consulting was established as a SAP Consulting company with a primary business focus of assisting companies with existing SAP systems to maximise the benefit from their investments by implementing or enhancing there SAP system with focus areas in mySAP SRM (Supplier Relations Management) and mySAP SCM (Supply Chain Management) components. We are also developing a strong capability in the Quality and Health and Safety functional areas of SAP. We also do general SAP consulting in all the modules of SAP, with the primary focus of value adding consulting.

We provide SAP customers with highly competent and specialised SAP functional and technical consultants to deliver SAP solutions from a business perspective.

Our consulting strategy is aimed at long term partnerships either to provide basic support when needed or to take over the management and running of entire SAP systems. We supply any level of SAP specialist skills from super user to experienced consultants. To improve performance of our customers systems, we offer specialised continuous business improvement (CBI) initiatives and implement small projects such as upgrades or functional enhancements.

Furthermore, we have a substantial team that specialises in the management of end user education including assessment of training requirements, the development and presentation of training material and ongoing management of user skill levels.

Eventus Consulting (Pty) Ltd is owned 75% by Pebbletree Consulting and employs full time and contracted staff. Our client base includes Afrox, RBCT, Nissan to name but a few.

Business Warehouse / Strategic Enterprise Management

The requirement to utilise information from various functions within the organisation, such as Marketing, Sales, Finance and Strategy has resulted in the creation of tools that can access data from all aspects of the business.

At the heart of Business Intelligence requirement lies the ability to deliver the right information to the right users at the right time. The architecture used to enable this, is called the Corporate Information Factory, which is, in fact the equivalent of a scalable, flexible and comprehensive BI infrastructure.

SAP has taken a application approach to the matter, with their solution called the SAP Netweaver BI. This is an integrated infrastructure and solution to the BI requirement.

Eventus Consulting will provide our clients with consulting solutions, utilising the SAP BI infrastructure. One of the key aspects in the BI requirement is Performance Management of the organisation. To assist our clients, Eventus utilise the SAP Strategic Enterprise Management (SAP SEM) solution. The solutions include: Consolidated financial reporting -- With SAP SEM, you can generate consolidated financial and managerial reports for a globally distributed business or entity. The application can aggregate financial data from SAP and non-SAP systems into a single analytical reporting environment, enabling you to monitor the financial performance of individual subunits.
Planning, budgeting, and forecasting -- SAP SEM helps enables you to model various planning options and use preconfigured planning software to get a quick start on operational planning tasks such as cost center planning and sales planning. The application supports traditional budgeting and rolling forecasts as well as collaborative planning.
Corporate performance management and scorecards -- With SAP SEM, you can develop KPI’s that support a number of popular scorecard methodologies, including balanced scorecard, economic value-added, and activity-based costing methods. You can link operational and strategic plans and develop scorecards and performance measures based on financial and non- financial data.

Risk management -- SAP SEM helps you identify, quantify, and analyze business risks within individual business units and manage risk-reducing activities.

Supplier Relationship Management:

SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) eventually forms part of the supply chain. Eventus believes, not only is the increase of efficiency in the supply chain important, but also the reduction of cost. SRM provides the opportunity to manage the procurement and sourcing of goods and services. The SRM process will enable our clients to manage the supplier spend.

Eventus utilises the mySAP SRM solution to assist our clients to automate procurement. Utilising the integrated nature of the SAP products, we enable our clients to also integrate key processes for supplier qualification, contract management and negotiation. mySAP SRM also allow all enterprise functions to be integrated in terms of the supplier management and processes.
